    Hi, Matt,

In the English NWT 2013 epub there is an error in Psalm 66:13. Where the word "your" is rendered as "you+r".
I don't know if it is possible to edit the epub once imported to Equipd Bible.

I thought I would bring it to your attention, though.

Loving all the additions and features in the app.

    EDIT

Today I tried the same download in iBooks and Documents and they don't include the +sign at all, so it seems to be confined to Eqipped Bible.
By the way, I convinced my wife to download the app and she is overjoyed with it too.

I have managed to improve this. See screenshot below.

Regarding the + sign not appearing in iBooks etc. Of course. The + sign is for cross-references which are not in the original EPUB file. The Equipd Bible app is "supplementing" the EPUB with this additional information. Support for supplementary cross-references was initially added in version 3.0 which you can read about here.

That is a great improvement, Matt, thanks. The cross-references which were linked by the misplaced + sign have disappeared, though. Is there a way of re-instating them?

    @Bohemian Please compare to here:
    http://wol.jw.org/en/wol/bl/r1/lp-e?q=Psalm 66:13

The issue was that the cross-reference was for the word "you". And it matched that incorrectly to the "you" found inside "your" - which is why you got "you+r". But it should have matched it to the word "you" found at the end of the verse.

What you see now in the screenshot is the way it should be. Make sure you are looking at the top "nwt-E" version in the screenshot - the cross-references do not apply to the KJV or WEB Bibles.

Does that make sense? Or did I misunderstand what you meant?

Ah, I have understood it finally!

Thank you so very much for your expertise and patience with me.
Should I download the epub again in order for this to show up correctly for me?

No you don't need to do anything. The app update will take care of it.

Hi Matt, I have found another bug of this nature in Daniel 10:17. The + sign appears in the word "lord+'s". There is a later occurrence of the word "lord" in the verse, so perhaps it is a similar case to the other one.

Yes you are right. In this case it is the apostrophe that is throwing out the regular expression. I will look further into it when I get a chance.

    Hi Matt,
I found another example of this in Leviticus 24:

11The son of the Israelit+e woman began to abuse the Name.

The Daniel one is still there too.

Thanks for all the work you do on this app, it is the best I know of.

    And another in Deuteronomy 22:30
30“No man should take his father+’s wife"

Also Deut 27:20. The same (in crossreference from 22:30 too)

    Also
Deut 23:4. because they did not come to you+r aid

Deut 23:17 None of the daughters of Israel may become a temple prostitute+,+

Joshua 3:17 While the priests carrying the ark of Jehovah’s covenant kept standing still on dry ground++

1John 4:18. There is no fear in love+,+

1Sam 17:30 So he turned from him toward someone else and asked the same thing as before+,+ and the people gave him the same reply as before.

2 Chron 15:8. As soon as Aʹsa heard these words and the prophecy of Oʹded the prophet, he took courage and removed the disgusting idols from all the land of Judah+ and Benjamin and from the cities that he had captured from the mountainous region of Eʹphra·im, and he restored Jehovah+’s altar that was before the porch of Jehovah.

Psalms 72:16 — There will be an abundance of grain on the earth+;+ On the top of the mountains it will overflow. His fruit will flourish as in Lebʹa·non, And in the cities people will blossom like the vegetation of the earth.

Psalm 94:23 - He will make their wicked deeds come back upon them++.

Hi Matt,I have updated the above post with other instances I have found of this problem. When I reach Psalms (I’m currently reading 2Chron) I should have caught all the problem texts (I hope!).

Thanks for all your hard work.

Just a note to bump this in case you thought it had been sorted out previously.

I see you have been very busy, Matt, and I didn't want to add to your workload before.

Just to let you know, Matt, that I have noticed some more errors in placement of cross-reference links. I shall not post them piecemeal, but as I started reading from Genesis again on January 1st, I'll note them and post if I find that there are a number which you can address together and save you time and effort.
