TNM b12_i non ha non ha riferimenti e note in calce, perché ?

    Mi chiedo perché la Bibbia (TNM b12_i ePub) scaricato dal sito Jw.org manca di riferimenti e note.

    As you mention, the bi12_I EPUB file does not contain cross-references or footnotes. Most bi12 EPUB files do not seem to include these. The newer nwt EPUB files on the other hand seem to contain footnotes.

    As mentioned in another post, if the EPUB itself does not contain this information, then of course the Equipd Bible app cannot display the cross-references or footnotes.

    As for "why" they don't contain it - I am not in a position to answer that question as I am not the author of these files, but I would guess it was in the interest of expediency and to keep the EPUB file smaller. Especially in the "early days", EPUB readers like iBooks struggled to load Bibles, so maybe the files were deliberately kept lightweight to avoid issues in the ebook apps.

    Hi Renzo - I didn't fully understand the question, but if it was something like, can we import the Bible from the old Equipd, then no sorry that is not possible, and I will not be adding such a feature.

    Mi spiace che non è possibile importare la Bibbia del vecchio equipd. Attenderemo un file che contenga note e riferimenti, anche se notavo che in quella di lingua inglese ha le note marginali.

    Yes that is correct, as I mentioned earlier...
    So if a newer revision of the Italian NWT is released at some point, the EPUB may also include the footnotes as well.
