I was a bit surprised not to be able to link to a scripture in 1Chr using the URL scheme. "1Ch" seems to work, as does "1Chron".

Low priority bug of course, but it seems unusual not to recognize that abbreviation.

What that means is that "1 Chr" has never been viewed as a valid abbreviation for "1 Chronicles" in any of the source material that has been used by the older Equipd app for nearly 3 years. Can I ask what you base it on that this is a valid abbreviation for this book name?

You've seriously never seen it used? It's not as common, but it is valid.

Hi Jonathan, in all my years in the truth I have never come across that abbreviation before. I have just tried typing it into wol.jw.org and it shows up as your "search did not match any documents".

I can certainly look to add support for it, but I will move this to being a feature request rather than a bug report.

Yes, that's fine. Like I said, it's not that common (apart from stuck in my head, and apparently the Chicago Manual of Style, thus putting it in secular sources).
