Confirmed Highlighted ::text:: no longer showing in right column

    Highlighted ::text:: not visible in note on the right side.

    When I put the signs for italics text * * to note (with words, or with one space between * *) highlighted text is visible in the note on the right side.

    Can I ask - did you copy and paste the note? Or did you type it manually?

    I am guessing that you copied and pasted the note from somewhere. And that the copied text will contain some hidden invalid characters in the text. The reason I say this is that this error is not usual, and because I have inserted the same note, into the same Bible, without any issues.

    Maybe try entering the same note again by typing it, or even copy the note text from here:

    Copy the note from your post, paste to (nwt-E) - not good.
    I enter the note by typing to (bi12-H) - not good.

    Ok on further investigation I can see that yes the highlighting in the right column is broken on actual devices. On the iOS Simulator used for development it works fine, but on a physical iPhone or iPad the highlighting no longer shows.

    This must have happened since a recent update of iOS - maybe in version 10.3.

    I will look into how to fix this new issue.
